Missions
Ministry

Nazarene Missions International exists to mirror the character and purpose of God in proclaiming His gospel to all the peoples of the world through prayer, education, involvement, and giving by the total church. For questions concerning missions projects at Hutchinson First Church, you may contact us at firstchurch@hutchfirstnaz.org.

Our Mission: To mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences.

The Objective: To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evanglizatio. To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs. To challenge children and youth to learn about and to participate in the mission of the church. To raise funds for mission outreach.

Coffee Cup Ministry
The NMI Council is asking that each person forego a cup of coffee, a soft drink, or an energy drink once a week and give what would have been spent to the Coffee Cup Ministry. All monies received will go to our pastoral brothers and sisters in Belize. Many of these pastors work bi-vocationally to support their families. Look for the large Coffee Cups in the hallway at the back of the Sanctuary the first Sunday of each month.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministry

Our vision for ministering to poverty stricken, sick, and hungry people has no limit. We can dream as big as the church will allow, through its continued prayers and financial support. We seek to implement this vision through managing resources, empowering people, enabling compassion, and... especially through extending the hope of Jesus to the world. For more information concerning missions log onto http://www.nazarenemissions.org.

Crisis Care Kits (CCK'S)
The Crisis Care Kits were initiated during the year 2000. It is estimated that approximately 66,000 CCS's (10,000 banana boxes) are needed each year to meet the needs of people affected by disasters around the world. Those who suffer from earthquakes, floods, and tragedies in the United States and abroad receive supplies to help when these tragedies strike. Collections are taken periodically to help stock the supply.
