Kevin, Beth, Hayden, Logan, and Ashton Borger

Kevin joined the staff of Hutchinson First Church in January of 2005. Before coming to Hutchinson Kevin was Administrative Pastor at Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, Kansas.

Kevin grew up as a pastor's kid in Iowa. His parents pastored for 36 years and as Kevin says: "have been a wonderful Christ-like example." Kevin attended MidAmerica Nazarene University, was a member of the Heritage Choir and the Collegiate Quartet. While at MNU Kevin met his future wife, Beth Marvin. They have three beautiful children, Hayden, Logan, and Ashton.

While in college Kevin served as interim worship leader at Wichita First Church. While finishing his B.A. in Church Music and Christian Education, he served on staff at Nall Avenue Church in Kansas City. From there the Borger's served in Oskaloosa, Iowa, then at College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho.

Kevin has been an auctioneer since he was 12 years old, has been a State Champion Auctioneer in both Kansas and Idaho, and has been an auctioneer at the MNU Autumn Auction for the past 21 years. Kevin plays the viola, likes watching the Andy Griffith Show reruns, and tries to be a fan of the Royals and the Chiefs. He loves chocolate and his bike.
